The Armstrong GalleryNamed for astronaut Neil Armstrong, the Armstrong Gallery features monthly rotating exhibits of works by local artists. It is also available for meetings, receptions, and catered events.
The Grind in the CityOn Saturday, April 26th, the Vancouver Lookout proudly hosted the 2008 edition of The Grind in the City charity stair climb in conjunction with Harbour Centre. In support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada, the event featured a challenging 700 step - or 43 story - ascent, that's 466 vertical feet!
The 2008 ascent record, from street level to the viewing deck, was an incredible 4:22 minutes in the open category and 6:34 minutes for firefighters in full gear and breathing apparatus!
